May be the Joseph Pope (only on born in WOR of right age). Is Ann the right one? Did he re-marry? Is this the right Joseph Pope?7
Research1871 Research: at Union Road, Weobley, HEF,A Joseph Pope, master of the workhouse, age 41 born Droitwich, WOR and Annie Pope, wife, 48, matron of the workhouse, born Newent, GLS.

Again, proves it could - possibly - be the right Joseph, but is not the right Ann.

Did his original Ann die, or is "our" pair somewhere else? e.g. emigrated?8

A Mystery!

And probably not one associated with this Isaac.
