He attended Kemerton and Bushley schools as a boy, and before joining the army in June 1915, was in the employee of Miss Saunders grocer, Tewkesbury. He leaves a wife and two children. Deceased was accorded a military funeral, the first part of the service being held at Tewkesbury Abbey and the remainder at the Cemetery, where the Rev. P. W. Low officiated.
